Pokémon adventures by 日下秀憲

Pokémon Adventures: Ruby & Sapphire, Vol. 15 opens the Ruby & Sapphire chapter of Hidenori Kusaka and Satoshi Yamamoto's manga series based on the Pokémon games. Ruby's father, Norman, is Petalburg City's new Gym Leader, but Ruby has no wish to follow him; he would rather shine in Pokémon Contests. Sapphire, daughter of Professor Birch, is tired of collecting research data and wants to win battles instead.

When the two meet, sparks fly in all the wrong ways, until Sapphire challenges Ruby to a contest: which of them can reach their goal within eighty days? Meanwhile, Team Aqua is hatching a sinister plan. Reading right to left, it is an ideal starting point for young readers new to this part of the saga.
