About this product

The PlayShield Bare from Amazingthing is a thin protective shell for the Nintendo Switch 2, built from tinted transparent polycarbonate with shock absorbing TPU around the Joy-Con controllers. It is aimed at handheld players who want scratch and bump protection without making the console bulky.

2 mm profile: the shell is about 2 mm thick and weighs 87 g, so the console still feels light.
TPU grip sections: molded TPU wraps the Joy-Con edges for a firmer hold and cushioned corners.
Vent-aligned cutouts: openings line up with the console's ventilation zones to help heat escape during long sessions.
Joy-Con access: the controllers come off without stripping away the whole case.
Scratch resistant shell: the polycarbonate is made to resist scuffs and yellowing.
